• VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 SECOND TEN YEAR INSPECTION INTERVAL IMSfRVICE INSP8ECTION PROGR AM PLANS On November 1,1990 for North Anna Unit 2 and November 21,1990 for North Anna Unit 1, Virginia Electric and Power Company submitted the latest inservice Inspection Programs for the second inspection interval. As committed in that correspondence, we are sub nitting tne second intervalinservice inspection program plans. These program plans identify the specific components and component supports selected for examination during the second ten year interval. The program plans also provide details of the examinations and tests to be performed.

These inservice inspection program plans meet the requirements of the applicable editions of Section XI of the ASME Boller and Pressure Vessel Code, i.e.,1983 i Edition, Summer 1983 Addenda, for North Anna Unit 1 and 1986 Edition for North Anna Unit 2. As identified in our November 21, 1990 letter, the North Anna Unit 1 program plan includes some of the enhancements of the 1986 Edition of the Code making the Unit 1 program similar10 the Unit 2 program.

To facliitaa /our review of these program plans, we will provide one set of reference drawings foi each unit under separate cover to the NRC Project Manager. We will also provide a copy of each program and one set of the reference drawings for each unit to the NRC's reviewers at EG&G Idaho, Inc.
