20555 BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT, UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-325 AND 50-324 LICENSE NOS. DPR-71 AND DPR-62 SUPPLEMENTAL FIRE PROTECTION INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Denton:
On June 30, 1982, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) submitted information required for the 10 CFR 50, Appendix R, Review for Safe Shutdown Capability Assessment and Proposed Modifications. Subsequent to that, we have continued our review of our fire protection information. As part of this review, supplemental information, which may be of use to the NRC staff in conducting its review, has been developed for Sections 5 and 6 of our June 30, 1982 submittal.
As discussed with our NRC Project Manager, the supplemental information has been incorporated into existing Sections 5 and 6 to facilitate i casier review of this material. We are enclosing, therefore, complete copies of Sections 5.5 through 5.8 and 6.
The existing Sections 5 5 through 5.8 and 6 should be removed from our June 30 submittal and discarded, and the enclosed sections substituted in their place.
