The amendment would revise Specification 3/4.3.4 by eliminating monthly testing of low pressure turbine reheat stop and intercept valves.
This change has been reviewed by the OSC and ORC and was determined to be safe and~does not involve an unreviewed safety question.

APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT i-TO OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant. to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Duquesne Light Company hereby requests that the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A of the above referenced license be amended to eliminate monthly-testing of low pressure turbine reheat stop and intercept valves.
The proposed Technical Specification changes are set forth in i
Attachment A
to this Application.
A Safety Analysis and No Significant Hazard Evaluation is set forth in Attachment B.
Replacement pages for the Technical Specifications are contained l
in Attachment C.
t Based on the guidance provided by the Commission, the proposed l
changes have been determined to involve no significant hazards consideration in accordance with 10 CFR 50.92.
WHEREFORE, Applicant respectfully requests that Appendix A to this Operating License be amended in the form attached hereto as Attachment A.
