Amndaent 40. 8 to Facility Operating License No. HPF-10, issued to Southern California Edison Company, San Diego Gas and Electric Company, The City of Riverside, California and The City of Anaheim, California (licensees) for the i
San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 2 (the facility) located in San I
Of ego County, California. This anendment is effective as of the date of i
issuance.
l Anendment No. 8 changes the date for operability of the post-accident l
sampling system from " prior te exceeding five (5) percent power" to " January 1, f
1933". Amendment 8 also changes the associated Technical Specifications.
Issuance of this amendment complies with the standards and require::lents of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as anended (the Act), and tha Comission's regulations. The Coa: mission has made appropriate findings as required by the I
Act and the Comission's regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license acendaent.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendnent does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
