Clinton Power Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-461 This is in response to the referenced bulletin on the subject of, " Alteration of Radiographs of Welds.
in Piping Subassemblies".
Illinois Power Company has 4
i completed the actions required by Bulletin No. 82-01.
Rev. 1 and reports on its findings.
A special surveillance was conducted of all radiographs received from Associated Piping and Engineering j
Corporation (AP&E) of Compton, California for piping subassemblies, ASME Class 1 and 2, installed at Clinton Unit 1.
The radiographic film review w.s performed on 100% of the radiographs associated with the Recirculation Loop Piping and Safe Ends.

U-0542 LO8-82(09-13)-L September 13, 1982 Page 2 No radiograph was found to contain penetrameter enhancement as detailed in the referenced NRC bulletin and all areas surveyed are evaluated as adequate.
All quality assurance records reflecting the review findings are being maintained and are available for NRC review.
