Supplemental Response to Inspection Nos. 50-443/82-04 and 50-444/82-04
Dear Sir:
We wish to report that the following corrective action is being taken in addition to that reported to you in Reference (c) and discussed in Reference (d):
1.
UE6C has been directed to expand their existing system regarding the distribution of controlled documents to assure that manufacturers instructions / manuals are forwarded to at least the prime installation contractor.
2.
Site contractors have been instructed to review the appropriate instruction manuals to extract pertinent information, and to incorporate such information into their own installation / inspection instructions.
3.
The electrical installation contractor will re-inspect, on a sample basis, those items previously installed for which there is no auditable evidence that the applicable requirements from manufacturer's 8209080027 820830 PDR ADOCK 05000443 o

e instructions / manuals had been followed. YAEC will perform surveillance on this re-inspection. The inspection results will be reviewed by the installation contractor and YAEC to determine the necessity for additional rework / inspection.
It is expected that the above-listed actions will be completed by September 1, 1982.
