Dear Sir:
In the referenced letter and OL Application Amendment 45, it was indicated that a Loose Parts Monitoring System would be purchased for Seabrook Station and that the System would comply with the guidance of Regulatory Guide 1.133.
To date, a Loose Parts Monitoring System that complies with Regulatory Guide 1.133 has been purchased from the Technology for Energy Corporation.
A similar system has been installed at Shoreham Station and was subsequently approved by the Staff.
The detailed information required by Regulatory Guide 1.133 (Rcgulatory Positions C.1, C.2, C.3, C.4, C.5, C.6) and the Staff Requests for Additional Information 492.1 and 492.3 will be provided by July 1, 1983, and will subsequently be incorporated in the OL Application.
