September 15, 1978 that the present recirculation spray system does not pro-Inaccordancewith10CFR50.55(e),theNRC,RegionII,wasnotifiedon vide the flow, as required in the Babcock and Wilcox system description, for the low pressure core injection mode of operation.

The low pressure core injection requirements and the recirlulation spray /

core injection system capabilities are under study by Stone and Webster and Babcock and Wilcox. This study has not been completed, therefore, you should consider this an interim report. A final report will be forthcoming subse-quent to the completion of the study.
