Gentlemen:

Generic Letter 90-03, requested that licensees and applicants review their present vendor interface programs and modify as necessary to ensure that:
J a) A program with tho NSSS vendor as described in the VETIP, which covers all-the safety-related components within the NSSS scope of supply. This program should include provisions for assuring receipt-by the 3
licensee / applicant of all technical information provided by the NSSS vendor; and b) A program of periodic contact with the vendors of other key sa'fety-related componentsnotincludedin(a)above.
Reference (1) provided TU Electric's commitment to comply with Item (a), which was subsequently accepted by the Staff in-Reference (2).. :In addition,
-y Reference (2) requested additional information regarding the implementation of TU Electric's program which addressed Item (b).
Reference (3) provided TU Electric's program to comply with Item (b) which was subsequently accepted by the Staff in Reference (4).
