_ Diversity of CRBR Heat Transport Systems Bill Morris (NRC) noted that the DHRS, which supposedly provides diversity in ' heat removal capability, has an interdependence with the main heat removal system via common power sources to their pumps.
NRC is writing a draft SER due out July 16 and would like input comments from SAI by the first week in July on the acceptabflity of 'this interdependence.
At this point, NRC is looking for educated judgment, not a definitive analysis.
The key question is whether the present diversity is adequate or whether NRC should require removal of the power interdependency.
Proba-bilities, rather than consequences or risk, will be the basis for judging adequacy.
SAI will need more design information than is available in the PSAR. Morris indicated that Dick Becker would provide the necessary infor-mation.
