Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request No. 210 Reactor Building Ventilation System Isolation Valves i
By letter dated December 16, 1993, GPU Nuclear Corporation, licensee of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, submitted the subject amendment to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
The proposed amendment clarifies the requirements for maintaining secondary containment integrity when one or more Reactor Building Supply and Exhaust valves are declared inoperable.
The Technical Specification change adds a new Limiting Condition for Operation, i
Basis Statement, and Surveillance Requirements for these isolation valves.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Energy's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) reviewed the above amendment in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.91(b).
Based on this review, the BNE does not have any comments on the subject change.
