Mr. Domenic B.

Reference (3) may have been misleading on this point.

In 1980, Vermont Yankee was required to complete the tap changes before operation in the closed cycle cooling mode, but the tap changes were permanent.

Cases 4A, 48, 4C, and 4D of YAEC Report //1205 demonstrate that adequate voltage exists at safety loads with the new tap settings.

We trust that this inf ormation is satisf actory; however, should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
