Comanche Peak (TX) Offsite Emergency Preparedness Plan Development The Federal Emergency ilanagement Agency Region VI office received copies of the State and local offsite preparedness plans for the Conianche Peak
!!uclear Generating Station on June 17, 1982, which were then sent to the 1 Region VI Radiological Assistance Committee for comment. Comments have been received and are being evaluated. Informal opinions given are that the State (Texas) plan is good and well organized; and the local plans, while complete, need some formating and organizational modifications.
Based upon the current status of plan review, we have scheduled forwarding an interim finding to the Nuclear Regulatory Cormiission based upon the plan review only, on September 8,1982.
An exercise to test the plans is presently scheduled for January 31, 1983.
