1994 FIELD EXERCISE ONSITE OBJECTIVES AND EXTENT OF PLAY NOTES The locations where various objectives will be demonstrated are indicated by numerical codes as shown below.

OBJECTIVE FACILITY 1.
Demonstrate the ability of the emergency 1,2,3 organization to assess plant conditions and make appropriate emergency classification.
(Players' response to the scenario may result in this objective not being demonstrated in all three listed facilities.)
2.
Demonstrate the ability to notify and 1,2,3 update federal, state, and local authorities.
(Notifications will be in accordance with EPP-203.
Roleplayers will be used for the ENS Line, HPN Line and calls to the EPA.)
3.
Demonstrate the ability to alert, notify, 1,2,3 and update onsite personnel.
(The Automatic Dialing Machine will not be used nor will emergency personnel be notified at home.)

OBJECTIVE FACILITY 4.
Demonstrate the ability to initially staff ALL and activate the Emergency Response Facilities.
(The Control Room Simulator, located in the NOSF building, will be used instead of the actual Control Room.. Operations personnel will be prepositioned in the simulator when the exercise starts.
Added personnel who report to the Control Room during emergencies will report to the Simulator.)

Demonstrate the adequacy of procedures, ALL l
equipment, displays, security provisions, and habitability precautions for the Emergency Response Facilities.

Demonstrate the ability to direct, (1,2,3) ALL coordinate, and control emergency l
activities.
(Command and control will be demonstrated by the CR, TSC and EOF only.
All other facilities will only demonstrate direction and coordination capabilities.)
