Interim Report KMLNRC 82-173 dated 3/11/82 from GLKocster, KG&E, to WCSeidle, NRC Subj: Interim 10CFR50.55(c) Report - HVAC Duct Supports
Dear Mr. Seidle:
The purpose of this letter is to provide an update on the status of corrective action for the subject 10CFR50.55(e) item. During our March 5,1982 meeting at the Region IV of fice, we stated that all corrective action should be completed by mid-June and we would submit a final report by July 2,1982.
The reference documented the schedule presented at the meeting.
The inspection and rework of the originally identified 122 Heating /
Ventilating / Air Conditioning duct supports have been completed. In aIdition, several of the Program Enhancement Activities identified in the Reference have been closed. However, a few Program Enhancement Activities cannot be closed until several procedure revisions a.e incorporated. These revisions were scheduled for completion in mid-June. However, delays have extended the estimated time of completion for the required revisions to mid-August.
We will send a final report or advise you of any delays on or before August 17, 1982.
In the interim, please direct any questions on this matter to me or to Mr. Otto Maynard of my staf f.
