Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 License No. NPF-12 Amendment to Operating License
Dear Mr. Denton:
Pursuant to 10CFR50.90, the South Carolina Electric and Gas Company requests an amendment to Operating License NPF-12 for the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station.
The proposed changes were provided in South Carolina Electric & Gas Company's letter to Mr. H. R.
Denton, dated August 18, 1982.
This letter requested relief from Technical Specifications 3/4.3.7.10.
The NRC approved the request, in a letter dated August 20, 1982, by modifying the Technical Specification.
The changes to Technical Specifications have been reviewed and approved by the Plant Safety Review Committee and the Nuclear Saf ety Review Committee.
It has been determined that this request does not involve an unreviewed safety question.
The request has been evaluated in accordance with the criteria in 10CFR170.22.
It has been determined that a Class III license amendment f ee is required.
Accordingly, a check in the amount of Four Thousand Dollars ($4000.00) is enclosed in payment of the required fees.
