Un-insulated butt splice. When cement.ls no longer tacky, APPLI half-lapped layers of Okonite T-95 ' insulating _ tape over butt splice until tape thickness over butt splice is.

5/16 inch 'and tappering down onto the conductor insulation for % inch on each side of butt splice. : N/A this step if insulated butt splice used.
