f PEACH BOTTOM ATOMIC POWER STATION Narrative Summary of Operating Experience July 1982 UNIT 2 Following completion of the fifth refueling outage, the unit was returned to service on July 1, reaching 92% power on July 9.
Load reductions were taken on July 9, July 17 and July 25 for control rod pattern adjustments.
The E-4 Diesel Generator was removed from service from July 20 thru July 24 to align the generator and to replace the generator bearing, due to insulation degradation.
The E-4 Diesel Generator was blocked again on July 28 for balancing to reduce vibration.
i UNIT 3 The unit began the month at full power.
On July 24, reactor power was reduced to 640 MWe for a control rod pattern adjustment.
The reactor was returned to full power by July 26.
On July 30, the reactor power was reduced to accommodate repair of tube leaks in a main condenser water box.
The unit ended the month on a reactor power recovery flow ramp at 990 MWe, l
