In addition to the general guidance provided by tFe i:PC staff at this ir.eeting, ti.elve areas of concern were identified. Your letter of Septer.ter 2,1900, on this subject provided a brief response to these cencerns, along with the status of organization changes, corrittee formatien and preparation of acmin-istrative precedures.

Ve are cur. ently in the precess of preparing an SER en the Surrmer applicaticn.

At this tirr.e, we intend to provide a status report in the area of organization and adequacy of corporate and plant staffing. A final safety evaluation can only be prepared on the basis of the fonr.a1 IE/NRR inspection of these areas which can be made following irrplementation cf ycur crganizaticn changes and preparation of procedures addressing the functioning of the new organization, particularly in relation to the interfaces between plant and corporate staff.

We would like t'o schedule the formal NRC corporate and plant visit in December 19F0 to permit timely SER preparation for inclusion in a post ACRS supplement.
