MIDLAND PROJECT NRC REQUEST FOR DETAILS OF STRESS ANALYSES FOR UNDERGROUND PIPING FILE: 0485.16/Bl.7 UFI: 70*01 00234(S) 15100(E) SERIAL: 10113 As requested in your letter of October 20, 1980, please find attached 15 copies of a summary of the calculations for stresses in underground piping due to differential settlement at the Midland site. Also attached are the calculational input sheets.

After examination of the details provided we agree that a follow-up meeting should take place to discuss the results of our calculations and those provided by the NRC's consultant, Energy Technology Engineering Center (ETEC).
