Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
The following is additional information relating to Reportable Occurrence Report R0-369/82-13 which was submitted by Mr. W. O. Parker, Jr.'s letter of February 25, 1982. The original report is still applicable.
Due to an ambiguity in the procedura used to recalibrate the level switches for UHI "A" Train isolation valves folluwing the subject incident, the switches were set incorrectly. The switches were set at 73.8
.25 inches, instead of 73.3 i
.25 inches. The procedure has since been revised to clearly state the required setpoint both in the body of the procedure and on the data sheet. The switches were recalibrated to the correct setpoint on March 11, 1982.
Since this affected only Train "A" components and the level switches were only slightly miscalibrated, the capability to isolate the UHI accumulator was con-tinuous and the safety function of the accumulator was never compromised. Safe plant operation and the healt': and safety of the public were not jeopardized.
