This refers to the announced, routine safety inspection of emergency
preparedness activities authorized by License Nos. NPF-39 and NPF-85 conducted
by Mr. C. Amato of this office and other members of an NRC team on August
27-31, 1990, at your Limerick Generating Station, Pottstown, Pennsylvania and
your Nuclear Group Headquarters, Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania. Discussions of

inspection.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
inspection report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
