You recently comented on Regulatory Guide 1.141, " Containment Isolation Provisions for Fluid Systems," which was issued for public comment in April, 1978.
I might add that yours was the only public comment that we received on the subject guide.
Enclosed for your information is a copy of my memorandum to R. F.
Fraley, Executive Director, Advisory Committee on Reactor Safecuards i
(ACRS) dated December 8, 1978, with enclosures:
(1) proposed Revision l
1, Regulatory Guide 1.141, " Containment Isolation Provisions for Fluid
- Systems, (2) a summary of the public comments and their resolutions, and (3)thevalue-impactstatement.
An open meeting will be held by the ACRS Subcommittee on Regulatory Activities, probably in the first week of January,1979, to discuss the guide.
The notice of the meeting will be published in the Federal Register.
