EQUIPMENi QUALIFICATION (EQ)-INSPECTION OF LIMERICK GENERATING STATION, UNIT 2 (INSPECTION NO. 50-353/90-26)
This letter confirms the dates of November 26-30, 1990 for the NRC equipment qualification (EQ) inspection-of Limerick-Generating Station, -These dates -
were established during.a previous telephone conversation-between your Mr. D. J. Thompson and Mr. Leonard Cheung-of this office on November 5; 1990.
The inspection will take place at your corporate office and at'the. plant site.
A management entrance meeting is scheduled for'9:00 a.m. on November 26, 1990 with a management exit meeting tentatively scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on November 30, 1990 at the corporate office. A plant'walkdown'_ inspection of specific EQ equipment is planned for Wednesday, November 28, 1990.
The inspection will include the following:
1.
Review of your implementation of the 10 CFR 50:49 EQ program, including the preservation of qualified status of equipment; 2.
Review of your, implementation :of Safety; Evaluation Report EQ corrective action commitments, if any, 3.
-Review of EQ-documentation files.
4.
Physical inspection of equipment from the EQ' Master List.
About two weeks prior to the inspection we will require one copy o_f each document ' identified in Attachment :1' with a plus (+) mark to be provided to the Regional Office (send to USNRC, 475 Allendale Road, King.of' Prussia, Pennsylvania 19406, c/o L. Cheung).
