Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. W. M. McNeill of this office
during the period October 15-19, 1990, of activities authorized by NRC
Operating Licenses DPR-51 and NPF-6 for Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2,
and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. J. D. Vandergrift and other
members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The areas examined during the inspection were actien on a previously identified-
inspection finding and inservice inspection. Within these areas, the
' inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector. The
inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection report.
This. report does not include specific inspection followup for any Diagnostic
Evaluation Team findings (reference Diagnostic Evaluation Team Report issued
December 21,1989).
Within the' scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
