Dear Mr. Haynes:
This letter responds to your IE Bulletin No. 82-01, Revision 1, concerning alteration of radiographs of welds in piping subassemblies. The recirculation system piping and safe-ends anc piping in the recirculation pump motor heat exchangers are the only piping assemblies supplied by Associated Piping and Engineering Corporation (AP&E) for use at Unit 2.
All radiographs for the recirculation system piping and safe-ends and piping in the recirculation pump motor heat exchangers with wall thickness less than 1/2 inch have been reviewed in accordance with your Bulletin and no alterations were found.
