16, 1978 Summary of Meeting with CP&L on October On October 16, 1978, representatives of Carolina Power and Light Company met with NRC Region II and Headquarters personnel in Atlanta, Georgia to discuss CP&L's Evaluation of the BSEP Reactor Recirculation Safe-En The primary objective of the meeting was to deter-Examination Results.

Results a.

NRC informed the licensee that there was a question that remained unanswered froo the discussion and that had to do with the change of location of the maximum primary and secondary stressed between the Duane Arnold and Brunswick designs. CP&L i

agreed to research this specific question.

b.

Based on the discussions, CP&L management will inform Region II of their position as to whether or not the November inspections can be deferred.
