Dear Mr. Ippolito:
Carolina Power & Light Company has requested assistance from General Electric Company in responding to your letter of August 7, 1978 regarding un-detected single failures in reactor protection system power supplies. Due to GE's present work load schedule, we will not be able to respond to your August 7 letter until December 15, 1978. During the interim period, we will continue the surveillance of the Brunswick Plant reactor protection system power supplies as described in Attachment 1 of your August 7, 1978 letter.
