Dear Mr. Denton:

By letter of reference (a), Commonwealth Edison provided a report on associated circuits related to Zion Station's post fire shutdown capability.

A revised version o f that report was provided in reference (b).

Those letters of transmittal indicated that additional material on Unit 1 would be provided by August 1,1982.

This is to provide a revised version of the report that incorporates the Unit 1 material.

The revised report includes the material previously submitted and is intended to replace the July 2,

1982, report in its entirety.

Along with the Unit 1 material, some additional material has been provided in anticipation of NRC staf f questions.

This material includes additional simplified diagrams of the safe shutdnwn systems, and two new tables that supplement the analysis sections for the Power Distribution system and the Diesel Generator Heat Exchangers.

Format changes to material previously provided have been made where necessary to maintain consistency between units and provide report continuity.

With the submittal of this final report, Commonwealth Edison believes that sufficient information has been provided for the NRC to complete its review o f associated circuits for Zion Station.
