We have reviewed your letter dated April 12, 1990, which requested authorization to possess and use byproduct material identified in 10 CFR 35.300.
- However, before further action can be taken, we will require the following additional information.
You must submit your procedure for radiation safety during radiopharmaceutical therapy.
In developing your procedure, you should carefully review all the key elements of the model procedure; the bioassay procedures specified in Regulatory Guide 8.20; and the requirements of Sections 19.12, 20.105, 35.75, and 35.300. Optionally, you may choose to adopt the model procedure identified in Appendix P.
In order to continue prompt review of your application, we request that you submit your response to this letter within 30 calendar days from the date of I
this letter.
Please reply in duplicate and refer to Control No. 420984.
