. Wolf Creek. Generating Station License: NPF-42
<i During an NRC inspection conducted July 1-31, 1990,- one violation of NRC, requirements was identified. The violation, involved a licensed watchstander who had not maintained an' active license.
In'accordance with the " General
. Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions," 10 CFR Part 2, G
Appendix C (1990)(Enforcement Policy), the violation is listed below:-

Technical Specification Table l6.2-1 requires that shift crew composition.

. include an individual with a senior' operator: license in addition to the-shift supervisor.. This individual is designated by the~ licensee as the supervising operator. Tomaintainanactivelicense,10CFR55.53(e) requires that a senior operator actively' perform.the-functions of a senior operator a minimum of five 12-hour. shifts 'per calendar quarter.
5 Contrary to the above,.on-July 7,1990, an individual assumed the supervising operator watch without having performed five 12-hour shifts the preceding calendar quarter.
This is a Severity Level IV violation.

results achieved, (3) the corrective steps which will be.taken:to avoid i

further violations, and (4) the date when full: compliance will be achieved.
Where good cause is shown, consideration will be given to extending-the response time.
