This refers to the System Entry and Retest (SERT) inspection conducted by

Messrs. M. E. Murphy, D. L. Kelley, and A. Singh of this office during the

period September 10-14, and September 17, 1990, of activities authorized by KRC

Operating License DPR-46 for Cooper Nuclear Station, and to tne discussion of

our findings with Mr. G. Horn and members of the plant staff at the conclusion

of the inspection.

Areas examined during the inspection included system entry retests for design

'

changes, temporary design changes, and maintenance activities. Within these

areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and

representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the

inspectars. The inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection

report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
