FAClll1Y OPERATING LICENSES The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Coe,sission) has issued Amendment No.113 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-9 and Amendsent No.
95 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-17 is. sued to Duke Power Company, et al., (the licensee) which revised the Tecni;ical Specifications for operation of the McGuire Nuclear $tation Units 1 and 2, located in Mecklenburg, North Carolina.
The amendments are effective as of the d6te of issuance.
The amendments revised the Technical Specifications regarding the Auxiliary Building Filtered Ventilation Exhaust system, including related changes associatt.d with the modified Waste Handling area.
The applications for the avendments comply with the standards and requireuentsoftheAtomicEnergyActof1954,asamended(theAct),endthe Comission's rules and regulations. The Comi.:1on has made appropriate findims as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and reg 21stions in 10 CFR Chapter 1, which are set forth in the license amendments.

L The Comission has prepared Environmental Assessments related to the action and has determined not to prepare environmental impact statements.
Based upon the environnental assessments, the Comission has concluded that the issuance of these amendsents will not have a significant effect on the quality of the human environnent (54 FR 37515, September 11, 1989; SS FR 31258, August 1,1990).
