Docket No. 50-361 Special Report on Inoperable Stack Noble Gas Monitor San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 2 The purpose of this letter is to provide a Special Report to the NRC regarding Plant Vent Stack Wide Range Noble Gas Monitor 3RT-7865.
Specifically, Unit 3 Plant Vent Stack Wide Range Monitm, 3RT-7865, was removed from service on October 14, 1993, at v810, to-implement Minor Maintenance Package (MMP) 2/3-6835.
ouring this period, Unit 2 was in Mode 1 operations and Unit 3 was shutdown in Mode 5.
Because monitor 3RT-7865 remained out of i

stack was implemented in accordance with the requirements of i
Technical Specification 3.3.3.1 Action 19.
