James E. Cross Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer November 4,1993 Trojan Nuclear Plant Docket 50-344 License NPF-1 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Washington DC 20555
Dear Sirs:
Portland General Electric (PGE) Nuclear Quality Assurance Program for Troian Nuclear Plant (PGE-8010. Revision 16)
This letter transmits PGE-8010, Revision 16, " Portland General Electric (PGE) Nuclear Quality _
Assurance Program for Trojan Nuclear Plant." This document replaces PGE-8010, Revision _15, in its entirety.
On July 6,1993, PGE submitted to the NRC a proposed revision to the Nuclear Quality -
Assurance (QA) Program for the Trojan Nuclear Plant. On September 28,1993, PGE resubmitted its proposed revision to the Nuclear QA Program for Trojan with changes as requested by NRC letter dated September 3,1993. These changes also reflected NRC comments conveyed during several discussions between PGE and the NRC. In a letter to PGE dated October 28,1993, the NRC approved the proposed revision to the Trojan QA Program, as submitted by PGE's September 28,1993 letter.
Enclosed with this letter is a copy of PGE-8010, Revision 16, " Portland General Electric (PGE)
Nuclear Quality Assurance Program for Trojan Nuclear Plant." This revision, which reflects changes appropriate for the permanently shutdown and defueled condition of the Trojan Nuclear Plant, continues to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix B.
Sincerely, i
AM S. M. Quennoz for J. E. Cross Enclosure 08^050 9311090204 931104 PDR ADOCK 05000344
