Stratification" San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3 NRC Bulletin No. 88-11. " Pressurizer Surge Line Thermal Stratification,"
requested that the addressees establish and implement a program to confirm pressurizer surge line integrity in view of the occurrence of thermal l
stratification.
The Bulletin also required addressees to inform the staff of the actions taken to resolve this issue.
SCE has completed the required actions in response to NRC Bulletin No. 88-11.

The actions taken show that the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3 pressurizer surge lines meet the applicable ASME Code requirements for j
the 40 year service life of the units. The enclosed report documents in i
