USE OF SEALED SOURCES OFFSITE (TAC NO. L30625) i In accordance with your application dated October 18, 1993, and pursuant to Part 70 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License j
SNM-362 is hereby amended to authorize offsite use.of cadmium-109 and americium-241. These materials are integral parts of the devices used for detecting lead-in-paint.
Each device contains no more than 100 millicuries of Cd-109 or Am-241. Accordingly, Condition 10 is revised to include the cate of October 18, 1993.
All other conditions of the license shall remain the same.
Enclosed is a copy of the revised Materials License SNM-362 and the Safety Evaluation Report, which includes the Categorical Exclusion determination.
