CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION FOR AMENDMENT REQUEST DATED JUNE 28, 1990 By letter dated June 28,-1990, Tennessee Valley' Author _ity (TVA) requested an amendme't to License Nos. SNM.1865 and SNM 1883 to effect organizational i
changes for radiation control functions.
Bellefonte does not maintain an onsite j
health physics organf ration, but is supported by TVA's Corporate Radiological Control (RADCON) personnel. The proposed change will shift the responsibility for the radiation control functions from RADCON to the TVA Occupational Health &
Safety personnel and the TVA Western Area Radiological Laboratory at Muscle Shoals, Alabama. This change will not have an adverse effect on the public health and safety or the environment. Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 51.22(c)(11),neitheranEnvironmentalImpactStatementnoranEnvironmental Assessment is warranted for the proposed action.
