OPERATIONS NARRATIVE COOPER NUCLEAR STATION December 1993 Cooper Station operated at 100 percent for the month of December, with the following exceptions:

1. December 6-9 Slight derate to perform surveillance procedures.
2. December 11-12 Slight derate to perform turbine testing. ,
3. December 14-23 Automatic scram due to reactor feedwater level controller failure.
4. December 26 Slight derate to perform rod operability surveillance procedure.

A unit capacity factor of 75.7 percent (MDC Net) was attained for the month of December.
