Determined To Be Inoperable During Surveillance Testing, was submitted.

i A Request For Enforcement Discretion, to allow sufficient time to return emergency diesel generators G01 and G02 to a fully operable condition, was submitted on December 3, 1993.

Licensee Event Report 50-266/301 93-009-00, Inoperability Of Both Emergency Diesel Generators, was submitted.

The oil was changed in auxiliary feedwater pumps P-38A and P-38B for reasons described in the November 1993 operating report.

i Safety-related maintenance included:

1.

Tee drains were installed, the motor operators were replaced i

and four rotor limit switches were installed on the following auxiliary feedwater pump discharge valves: AF-04020, AF-04021, AF-04022 and AF-04023 2.

The STL202 relay was replaced in the alarm and electrical panel for G02 emergency diesel generator.

3.

The discharge relief valve to pump suction for fuel oil transfer pump P70A was replaced.

4.

The turbo charger and stub shaft assembly was replaced on the 1

G01 emergency diesel generator.

Service water piping from the outlet of the oil coolers to the outlet isolation valve (SW-00049) was also replaced.

5.

The east and west G02 emergency diesel generator heat exchangers (HX-055B-1 and HX-055B-2) were replaced.

The service water piping from the outlet of these heat exhangers to the outlet isolation valve (SW-00058) was also replaced.

6. Surface corrosion was removed and new epoxy based coating was applied to the endbells of component cooling water heat exchangers HX-012A and HX-012B.

7 New mounting kits and breakers were installed for 18 480V pressurizer heater breakers.

8. Eight 480V molded case circuit breakers were replaced as part 1

of the molded case circuit breaker upgrade.

The amptector upgrade for the 480V breaker (B52-10A) that 2'

oupplies power to component cooling water pump 1P-11A, was completed, i

Licensee Event Report 50-301 93-005-00, Molded Case Circuit Breakers Fail Trip Tests Due To Grease Solidification, was submitted.

Safety-related maintenance included:

1.

The spring shunts between the movable contacts and stationary contacts for the 480V breaker (B52-31C), which supplies power to auxiliary feedwater pump P-38B, were replaced.

2.

Eight 480V molded case circuit breakers were replaced as part of the molded case circuit breaker upgrade.
