'7q written to inform you that McGuire Nuclear Site's drinking c.e is now supplied by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utility Departmet (CMUD).
The former on-site surface water i
treatment plant operated by Duke Power is no longer serving:the site drinking water and has been physically disconnected from the drinking water distributiot, system.
The final connection to the

CMUD drinking water system o7 curred on December 22, 1993.
Therefore, we request that the public water system identification number assigned by the Stato be dropped and.that public water.
supply system status be dropped.
Monitoring data collected during the month of December 1993 will be ' reported with the routine drinking water report due by January 10, 1994.
