Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Exercise Report for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Enclosed is a letter from Mr. Craig S. Wingo, Assistant Associate Director, Office of Technological Hazards, FEMA, dated August 23,1993, transmitting the FEMA Region II report for the October 22,1991, full-participation exercise at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating

There were no deficiencies identified during the exercise, and FEMA has concluded that offsite emergency preparedness is adequate to protect the health and safety of the public. However, the report identifies thirteen Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCAs) and five Plannin <
Issues. In August 1993, we confirmed with Mr. D. Larson of your staff that you were awat of the ARCAs and Planning Issues and had made an effort to remediate them with offsite officials prior to your October exercise.
