REDUCTION IN POSSESSION LIMITS (TAC NO. L30624)
In accordance with your application dated September 23, 1993, and pursuant to Part 70 to Title 10 to the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License SNM-1067 is hereby amended to decrease the possession limits and to remove the authorization to conduct uranium-bearing nuclear fuel manufacturing operations at your Windsor facility. Accordingly, Condition S-1 of the Safety Conditions is revised to include the date of September 23, 1993, and Conditions Nos. 6, 7, and 8 are amended to reflect the changes in possession limits.
In addition, Condition S-11 is revised to correct a typographical error, and Conditions S-13 and S-14 are hereby deleted.
All other conditions of your license shall remain the same.
The removal of the authorization for conducting nuclear fuel manufacturing operations and the equation for limiting the total special nuclear material in Condition 8, items A, D, and E, were discussed with your Mr. John Conant on September 30, 1993.
Please note that since nuclear fuel manufacturing operations are no longer authorized by this license, the material specified in Condition 6, items A to E, is for laboratory research and development and instrument calibration activities.
