By letter dated July 24,1989, (NRC-C9-0108), you submitted an application for amendment to the Fermi-2 Operating License, No. NPF-43. The proposed )

i change would change the Technical Specifications by making minor modifications to better specify the requirements of the Turbine Overspeed Protection System.

~However, your staff. subsequently informed the NRC during meetings at the site l and in phone conversations that the amendment is no longer requested. Therefore, your proposed change is considered to-be withdrawn. If this information is not I correct, please notify the NRC of your intended actions within 10 days of receipt of this letter.
