Gentlemen:

SUBJECT:

NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-325/93-53 AND 50-324/93-53

This refers to the special inspection of the Quality Check Program conducted

by R. C. Haag of this office on November 15-19, 1993.

The inspection included

a review of activities authorized for your Brunswick facility. At the

conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members

of your staff identified in the enclosed inspection report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures

and representative records, and interviews with personnel.

Within the scope of the inspection, violations or deviations were not

identified. The employee concerns program was found to be an effective

alternate method to resolve concerns identified by employees at your Brunswick

facility. No response to this letter is required.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of

this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.

Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.

Sincerely,
