Letter from Mr. R. E. Denton (BG&E) to NRC Document Control Desk, dated September 29,1992, License Amendment Request; Site Boundary Map and Low Population Zone Map This letter transmits a Supplement to the Environmental Report for the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant. It is being submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 51.21 to supplement the License Amendment Request submitted in Reference (a). The requested amendment will revise the Site Boundary Map and Low Population Zone Map for Calvert Cliffs Unit Nos. I and 2 to incorporate property purchases made by Baltimore Gas and Electric Company expanding th:: Calvert Cliffs site.
The report only updates that information in the original Environmental Report which has been affected by the property purchases. The report does not change any information in the amendment request. Therefore, it does not change or modify the Determination of Significant Hazards presented in the amendment request.
In addition to transmitting a Supplement to the Environmental Report, a revised Figure 5.1-1 for the Technical Specification is being submitted in Attachment (2). The secondary meteorological tower has been removed from the figure. Technical Specification 3/4.3.3 provides the requirements for Technical Specification-related meteorological instrumentation. Technical Specification Tabic 3.3-8 lists the required meteorological monitoring instrumentation channels. All of the instrumentation.
listed on this table is mounted on the primary tower. The secondary meteorological tower is not required by the Technical Specifications or the Emergency Response Plan. Therefore, it has been removed from the Calvert Cliffs Site Boundary Map.
