RESPONSE TO BULLETIN 88-10 (TAC NO. 71296)
On November 22, 1988, the NRC staff issued Bulletin 88-10. " Nonconforming Molded-Case Circuit Breakers," requesting certain actions to be taken in regard tn molded-case circuit breakers (MCCB) used in safety-related applications.
On August 3, 1989, the NRC staff issued Supplement I to Bulletin 88-10.
The bulletin and supplement requested that licensees provide a written response confirming that the actions requested by the bulletin and supplement had been taken and a summary of the results of those actions and, if not completed, a schedule for completion.
By letters dated March 31 (NRC-89-0078), July 6 (NRC-89-0153), and November 9, 1989 (NRC-89-0225), you responded to Bulletin 88-10 and its tupplement.
The NRC staf f has completed a review of your responses and find:, the actions taken by you to be in conformance with the bulletin requests.
No further action is required at this time.
This fulfills your requirement in responding to Bulletin 88-10 and its supplement.
As discussed in Bulletin 88-10, you should maintain the documentation associated with this bulletin for at least five years.
These records may be subject to future inspections.
