SUMMARY
The staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission will meet with 1
representatives of the BWR Owners Group (BWROG), the Performance Demonstration Initiative (PDI), and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) to discuss technical issues related to the implementation of the performance demonstration requirements of Appendices VII and VIII of Section XI of the ASME code for intergranular stress corrosion cracking (IGSCC). The discussion will focus on those aspects related to the transition from the current NRC/EPRI/BWROG coordination plan, on training and qualification of inspectors looking for IGSCC, to the new ASME code requirements.
