In accordance with your application dated June 22, 1990s and pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Materials License n. SNM-1067 is hereby amended to authorize modification of the ventilation systeus in the Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing Facility. Accordingly, Condition 9 has been revised to include the date of June 22, 1990.
All other conditions of your license shall remain the same.
Please note that, in accordance with the discussion.in our Safety Evaluation Report, the NRC staff intends to impose air flow requirements when Combustion Engineering requests authorization to operate the new fuel rod fabrication process.
Enclosed are copies of revised License No. SNM-1067 and our Safety Evaluation Report.
