requirements of Hope Creek Technical Specification 3.3.7.2 - ,

action a, due to the Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation being inoperable for more than 30 days.

• On 11/05/93, the Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation was

• removed from service to perform a Tech Spec required 18 month channel calibration of the system. During the final portion of the surveillance, it was determined that a new test card was needed to complete the testing. The card has been ordered and expected to arrive in mid December when testing  ;

will be resumed with an expected completion date of 12/31/93. l Although the system cannot be declared operable, the system  ;

will be functional until test completion.
